Cian Curley Leads Irish at EURO PRO QS

Max Brackley holds a two shot lead going into Friday’s final round of the PGA EuroPro Tour final Q School stage at Frilford Heath in Oxfordshire with a total score of 9 under.


Kent golfer Brackley (FCH Ltd) followed his three-under par 70 on Wednesday on the Red Course with a six-under par 65 on the Blue Course yesterday to sit at nine-under. Brackley tees off in the final group at 2.35pm alongside amateur Tyrell Hatton and Warren Bennett.

Hatton (Harleyford) is two shots behind Brackley at seven-under par thanks to rounds of 67 and 70, one shot clear of Bennett (Sudbury GC) at six under par after rounds of 68 and 70.

Cian Curley of BSM / Team Ireland leads the Irish challenge on 6 under par after a round of 66 on Thursday to hold a share of 5th place.

John Kelly of St. Margarets Golf and Country Club is one over par after rounds of 74 and 71.

Peter O'Keeffe of Douglas GC is one over par signing for 73 and 72.

Just inside the cut are Michael Lavelle of the K Club (+2) and Jonathon Mallon of The Sports Academy (+4)

A total of five Irish players missed the cut including Kieran James of Bush Hill Park GC, Shane Franklin of Athenry GC, Lee Owens from Killiney GC, Steven Hackett from Cork GC and Michael Kelly of Palmerstown Stud.
