2010 winners, Sweden
Eighteen countries, three of them hoping to regain the title, arrive at La Sella Golf in Denia, for the event which runs from April 14th - 17th , and all aiming to win the fourth edition of the European Nations Cup, one of the most sought after in the Ladies European Tour calendar.
Sweden represented by Sophie Gustafson and Anna Nordqvist, arrive in Alicante as defending champions, a status earned in the last edition in La Sella Golf, with England and Holland taking the previous editions.
Apart from Sweden, the other favourite teams to win the title are the USA, with Christina Kim and Brittany Lincicome, England, with Laura Davies and Melissa Reid, the perfect combination of experience and strength , Australia - ranked second in 2010 - Germany, France .and Spain, represented here by the young Azahara Munoz and Maria Hernandez, both with the cards for the European and American circuits.
