Danielle McVeigh finished the final round of LPGA Final Qualifying signing for a 79 and unlikely to have fond memories of this trip to the United States after racking up five bogeys, two double bogey and only two birdie on the Legends course at the LPGA International in Daytona on Saturday.
After the four rounds - 77,81, 78 and 79 - the 2010 Curtis Cup player finished in 117th place and missed the cut.
Next week the Kilkeel native is back in action at the Ladies European Tour Final Qualifying School at La Manga - where she will join Martina Gillen of Team Ireland.
