In 2009 after an opening round of 63 at the same event, Alexander Noren was singing the praise of Dubliner, Colin Byrne, after carding a sizzling nine-under-par to finish a stroke behind the lead in the co-sanctioned event in Kuala Lumpur.
In Malaysia two years ago Byrne had been caddying for the Stockholm-born player four months after parting company with double-winning US Open champion Retief Goosen.
Since last summer Colin Byrne has been working with Italian, Edoardo Molinari.
