Padraig Harrington Transitions at Innisbrook
Padraig Harrington missed the cut at the Transitions Championship on Friday, an event where he finished in the top ten a year ago and as a result is still waiting too kick start the season which now is becoming more focused on The Masters as he approaches the end of the scheduled build up for Augusta.
The three time major champion has a free week ahead as the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by MasterCard at Bay Hill is not on the schedule. Six time winner at the event, Tiger Woods, added the event to his season only last week.
The next event for Harrington is the Shell Houston at the Open Redstone Golf Club Tournament Course in Humble, Texas, where he will join Phil Mickelson, winner of the 2010 Masters Tournament, Lee Westwood and Steve Stricker amongst others. Players have until Friday March 25th to commit.
The US$5.9 million Shell Houston Open will be played from March 31st - April 3rd and Harrington will be making his sixth consecutive appearance.
