Danielle McVeigh carded a six over par third round on the Champions Course at the LPGA Tour Qualifying School to finish with a 78 at the PGA International in Daytona Beach, in an unseasonably cold Florida.
With a poor return for the first nine holes McVeigh made the turn in 41 after four bogeys and a double bogey at the par four 14th hole. There was only one more bogey on the card - at the 10th hole - as the 2010 Curtis Cup star finished the remaining holes on the back nine in regulation to end the day 6 over par.
McVeigh is now +20 after three rounds and focusing on her Ladies European Tour Final Qualifying at La Manga next week given her chances in Florida slipped after the opening round 77 and then a second round 81.
Libby Smith has retained her overall lead after a round of 73.
