McDowell Still in Austrian Hunt

Graeme McDowell signed for another four under par round at the Austrian GolfOpen presented by Botarin on Saturday and moved back to a share of third place - two shots behind the joint leaders at the Diamond Country Club - English pair David Lynn and Danny Willett.

David Lynn - who has won just once on The European Tour despite making the top 100 on The Race to Dubai every year since 2000 - carded an eight under 64 to reach 13 under par and was joined by 22 year old Willett who finished with a seven under 65.

Another Englishman, Chris Gane, and Swede Pelle Edberg join US Open Championship winner Graeme McDowell on 11 under.

Damien McGrane recovered ground on Saturday dropping no shots to finish with a 67 on a 6 under par total.

Simon Thornton opened with a triple bogey 7 on the par four first but fought back to reach the 12th on one over par. However two bogeys on 13 and 17 left him 3 over for the day and 2 under for the tournament in a share of 40th place.

Gary Murphy played the course in level par and remains one over from the opening day 73.
