Power and Turner Busy on eGolf Tour

Niall Turner of Muskerry and Seamus Power of West Waterford have been busy over the past two weeks with two events on the eGolf tour which have taken place in Morocco.

At the Samanah Classic Niall Turner finished with 4 under overall to secure 29th place, with Seamus Power ending 3 over par.

At the El Jadida Classic last week Power finished in share of 4th place on 6 under par, with Turner in 35th place. 

The eGolf Professional Tour provides the best developmental tour in North America and offers some added in the 2011 season and includes two events in Morocco featuring guaranteed $250,000 purses, 120-player fields and cuts to the low 60 players and ties.


The winners of both Morocco events, The Samanah Classic and The El Jadida Classic, will be granted exemptions into the European Tour’s 2011 King Hassan II Trophy, featuring an estimated purse of $1.8 million (USD).

eGolf will pay for 2011 PGA TOUR Q-School for the top 20 members on the tour’s 2011 member earnings money list.

72-hole tournaments with a full-field purse of $250,000.

Tour will again offer a minimum of four Nationwide Tour exemptions in 2011.

No mandatory prepay or ranking schools. Members will be given priority entry each week, but non-members may sign up at any time as well.
