Two days of frost delays and the possibility of more on the weekend have disrupted the schedule for the Waste Management Phoenix Open enough that the tournament will now finish on Monday.
The second round will be completed on Saturday and the field will be cut to the standard low 70 players and ties. Tournament officials plan to play until darkness every day.
The last unscheduled Monday finish on the PGA TOUR was at the 2010 Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by MasterCard. The last one at the Waste Management Phoenix Open came in 1978 when rain washed out play on Sunday.
